Examination, Evaluation & Assessment

CLASSES NUR TO II

No formal examination will be conducted. Continuous and Comprehensive Assessment will be done by conducting various activities and assignments through Play Way method.

Promotion will be granted on the basis of whole year’s work, regularity and performance.

The Session has been divided into two Terms:
TERM I – April to September
TERM II – October to March

The Holistic Progress Card will be given to the students at the end of each term.

The HPC seeks to provide a comprehensive descriptive system for reporting students’ progress in relation to the domains, curricular goals and competencies described in the National Curriculum Framework.

The school encourages the use of Toy-Based Pedagogy, Art-Integrated Learning, Sports-Integrated Learning, and Experiential Learning. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills, enabling students to become active participants in their own education.

The competencies include – awareness of self, development of positive self-concept, decision making, problem solving, development of healthy habits, hygiene, sanitation, awareness for self-protection, development of fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, participation in individual & team games and sports.

The three performance descriptors in the HPC are:

Classes: III – VII

The session has been divided into two terms.

Besides the assessments, internal assessment in the form of regular activities & periodic written test for each subject will be conducted.

Tools like – Quiz, Project work, Debate, Declamation, Skit, Role Play, Mathematics Lab, Composite Lab, Map work, Speaking & Listening etc. are used for assessment.

Cumulative Result will comprise of aggregate Internal, Term-I & Term-II assessments.
